The opposition created a ruckus in both the houses on Monday (18 December) over the intrusion into Parliament security. The opposition, adamant on the demand of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to give a statement in the House on this matter, did not allow the proceedings of the House to proceed. Due to this, 47 opposition MPs from Lok Sabha and 45 MPs from Rajya Sabha were suspended from the winter session by the Speaker of both the houses.
RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha, suspended from Rajya Sabha proceedings, has expressed strong displeasure and objection to this decision.
“This is not a suspension, this is a badge of honour This is suspension, recognition that we are asking questions and an attempt is being made to cover up these questions. Today is recorded in history 92 MPs, don’t know who is advising this government…this kind of dictatorship We were only asking questions – the Home Minister should come to the House and give a statement and instead of that, suspension is taking place,” said Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha.
Suspended MP Mr @manojkjhadu :
इस तरह की… pic.twitter.com/aGwFIHWNx0

Taking aim at the Modi government, Manoj Jha said that this period will be remembered that ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came into his second term, it has become very weak. Only weak persons encourage and get such activities done through the Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
