Assembly Elections 2023 Dates Announced By EC, Results On December 3

Counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on December 3 for all five states.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the legislative assembly elections in all the five states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana. Polling in Chhattisgarh will be finished in two phases, i.e., on November 7, 2023 and November 17, 2023, while all other states will observe polling on all seats in a single day. Counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on December 3 for all five states.

The schedule for voting in all five states is as follow:

  • Chhattisgarh polls will be held in two phases, in the first stage, elections will be held on November 7. In the second phase, the election in will be held on November 17.
  • Madhya Pradesh will go for votes on November 17.
  • Mizoram will vote on November 7.
  • Rajasthan will go to polls on November 23
  • Telangana on November 30 in a single phase.
  • Counting of votes in all five states will be held on December 3
