To mark his birthday, PM Modi will inaugurate 26 lakh houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He is also scheduled to visit the Gadakana slum to interact with beneficiaries of the housing scheme. Later, he will launch the Subhadra Yojana at Janata Maidan.
This celebration follows a rally in Ahmedabad on Monday, where PM Modi symbolically handed over keys to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana during the “Viksit Bharat Viksit Gujarat” rally.
Over the years, PM Modi has marked his birthday with significant initiatives. Last year, he announced the launch of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, aimed at enhancing the skills of craftsmen and artisans. Other projects included the inauguration of key infrastructure developments like the India International Convention and Expo Centre and the extension of Delhi Airport Express Line.
In 2022, eight cheetahs were released into Kuno National Park as part of India’s Cheetah Re-introduction Project, while in 2021, a record 2.26 crore COVID-19 vaccines were administered in a single day to mark his birthday.
This year’s celebrations highlight PM Modi’s continued commitment to the development and welfare of the nation, with a focus on housing and other infrastructure projects aimed at improving the lives of millions.
