PM Modi will inaugurate Aero India’s 14th edition in February: Karnataka CM Bommai

The five-day Aero India event will take place at Yelahanka Air Force Station from February 13 to 17.

The 14th edition of Aero India, which is slated to take place from February 13 to 17, 2023 in Bengaluru, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who made the announcement at the opening of the Collins Aerospace Global Engineering & Tech Center in Bengaluru, according to the news agency PTI.

Aero India, regarded as one of the best aerospace shows, has successfully hosted 13 iterations in Bengaluru since 1996.

It will last for five days and take place at Air Force Station Yelahanka. Senior representatives from the Defense Ministry recently met with Bommai to discuss matters pertaining to Aero India 2023.

The team also assumed responsibility for the Air Force Station’s on-site evaluation. It has expedited this massive event’s planning and implementation in addition to assessment.

According to CM Bommai, Aero India is a global event, thus aerospace businesses in the state should make the most of this opportunity to promote their efforts and potential. He claimed that Indian engineers are extraordinarily gifted, and one of his aspirations is to build a factory in Bengaluru that can produce all of these parts.

Bengaluru, he continued, is the ideal location for the aerospace industry because organisations like the DRDO, NAL, and HAL are already present here. Top-notch R&D facilities for semiconductors, AI, renewable energy, and aerospace are also located in Bengaluru.

Based on its accomplishments, according to Bommai, this institution is developing into a significant engineering hub. The fact that Collins Aerospace Engineering Institution has successfully completed 25 years of operation demonstrates the value of its accomplishments. Commercial aircraft products are well known for being assembled and tested by Collins Aerospace manufacturers.
