Prior to the anticipated assembly elections this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to a youth gathering on September 24 in the Himachal Pradesh district of Mandi.

According to news agency ANI, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur told the Prime Minister that he will address the youth on September 24 at Paddal Maidan in Mandi while urging the youth of Seraj to attend in the demonstration in large numbers.

Following the dedication of the Government Senior Secondary School Dharbar Thach building, the Chief Minister spoke to a crowd. The structure was built at Dharbar Thach in the Seraj assembly constituency for a total of 2.43 crore rupees.

Talking about the School building, Thakur said, “The building of Government High School, Sarachi had been constructed at a cost of 2.75 crore, Government Senior Secondary School Shikavari at a cost of 3.84 crore and GSSS Bagsiad at a cost of 4.24 crore.”.

The Academic and Administrative Block of Pharmacy College Seraj at Bagsiad is now being built at a cost of 48.65 crore, and the residential complex and staff hostel will be built at a cost of 14 crore, according to the Chief Minister.

On the initiatives taken by his government to ensure basic facilities in the education sector in the Seraj area, he said,”Strong infrastructure had been developed to provide higher and vocational education to the students. Government Degree College Lambathach building had been constructed at a cost of 8.27 crore and Horticulture & Forestry College had been established at Thunag. The construction work of ITI at Chhatri at a cost of Rs.18.84 crore was in progress.”

The Veterinary Dispensary in Balidhar, Bagachanogi, as well as the approval of the appointment of Horticulture Extension Officer at Dharbar Thach were also announced by CM Thakur.

Local Panchayat Pradhan Meera Devi welcomed the Chief Minister, who was also greeted by former Delhi MLA Manoj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri, representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, and BJP Mandal office holders, among other dignitaries.
