PM Modi to inaugurate Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year

Members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met PM Modi in Delhi on Wednesday and invited him for the inauguration (Pran Pratishtha program) of the temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year by installing the Lord Ram idol in the Garbhagriha of the temple. Members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met PM Modi in Delhi on Wednesday and invited him for the inauguration (Pran Pratishtha program) of the temple. The Prime Minister personally accepted the invitation to inaugurate the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The Prime Minister said on X (previously Twitter): “Jai Siya Ram! Today is a day full of emotions. Recently, the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had come to meet me at my residence. They have invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ram temple. I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that, in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.”

“We have personally met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to Ayodhya on January 22 next year to perform the rituals of Pran Pratishta. We are happy that PM Modi has accepted our invitation,” said Champat Rai, General Secretary of Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, as quoted by ANI.

Ram temple will get open for public from January 26 

The consecration of the idol of Ramlala and the first Maha Aarti will take place on January 22 in the newly constructed Ram temple in Ayodhya. It will be opened to the public from January 26. Pandit Dixit told on Wednesday that the Pran Pratishtha ritual will start from January 16 and Purnahuti will take place on January 22.

On January 22, the main puja will be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi between 11:30 and 12:30 in Mrigashira Nakshatra.In this, after Shodashopachara puja, the idols will be left intact and after Maha Aarti, Ramlala will give darshan to the devotees.
