PM Modi focuses on education as the second largest provision for Budget 2021

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a webinar to converse about the budget provision for the education sector. PM Modi on Wednesday 3rd March said the 2021 Budget’s second-largest emphasis has been on education, skill, research and innovation. PM Modi said, “For building an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, it is important that the youth have self-confidence. Self-confidence comes when youth has faith in their education, skills and knowledge.”

He placed focus on language not becoming a hindrance in the development of talent. “There are talents in every house in the country. In the new National Education Policy, the use of the Indian languages has been encouraged. It is the responsibility of the experts of every language, how the best content of the world should be made available in Indian languages,” PM Modi stated.

“India has tested the Hydrogen Vehicle. Now we’ve to make ourselves industry-ready to utilize hydrogen as a fuel for transport. Future Fuel, Green Energy are very important to make ‘Energy’ self-sufficient. Hence, ‘Hydrogen Mission’ announced in the Budget is a huge resolution,” he added.

He attempted to encourage experts to come up with plans and strategy for the best and quickest implementation of the budget provision. PM Modi continued saying that the budget has expanded India’s efforts to connect education with employability and entrepreneurial capability.

The Budget 2021 was announced on 1st February by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman which highly focused on progressing education in India.
