In a rousing address at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Convention held at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied party members, expressing unwavering confidence in securing a resounding victory in the imminent Lok Sabha elections. Emphasizing the transformative agenda of his government, Modi urged BJP workers to redouble their efforts towards propelling India into the league of developed nations.
Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Modi drew attention to a recent statement by Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, inadvertently bolstering the prospect of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) clinching over 400 seats. “Even the opposition leaders are conceding victory to the NDA, with projections surpassing 400 seats,” remarked Modi, signaling a wave of optimism within the party ranks.
However, Modi acknowledged the formidable task ahead, noting that to achieve such a feat, the BJP would need to cross the historic milestone of 370 seats. Undeterred by the challenge, Modi underscored the pivotal role of the forthcoming elections in shaping India’s trajectory over the next five years. “Our vision is to propel India towards development, and the next five years are critical in realizing this aspiration,” affirmed Modi, rallying his audience with a call to action for the upcoming electoral battle.
In a bid to galvanize party members, Modi outlined a comprehensive strategy for the ensuing 100 days, urging them to engage with every segment of society and garner trust across the nation. “We are not here merely for politics but to serve the nation,” reiterated Modi, underscoring the BJP’s commitment to inclusive governance and socio-economic progress.
Reflecting on his government’s accomplishments, Modi touted the eradication of corruption and terrorism, alongside initiatives aimed at uplifting the underprivileged and expanding the middle class. Highlighting his administration’s proactive engagement on the global stage, Modi reiterated his unwavering resolve, encapsulated in the slogan, “Aayega to Modi hi” (Modi will prevail).
The BJP’s National Convention also witnessed the passage of significant resolutions, including the endorsement of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (advanced India) and reaffirmation of the commitment to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. BJP National President JP Nadda echoed Modi’s optimism, urging party workers to surpass the 370-seat mark in the upcoming elections.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah echoed the sentiments of confidence, predicting a resounding mandate for the NDA, with Modi at the helm for a third consecutive term. Shah rebuked the opposition, accusing them of tarnishing India’s democratic fabric and perpetuating corruption and nepotism.
Therefore, as the political landscape intensifies ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi’s rallying cry at the BJP National Convention underscores the party’s determination to secure a decisive victory and propel India towards a future of prosperity and progress.
