New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Rajasthan’s Kota. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for those injured. In a series of tweets, the PM said, “The accident in Rajasthan’s Kota is very painful. My condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. May God give them the strength to bear this immense loss.” “Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in a tragic accident in Kota. The injured would be given Rs 50,000,” he said. In a tragic incident, nine members of a wedding group, including the groom, were killed on Sunday when their car fell into the Chambal river in Rajasthan’s Kota. UNI DS PRT
