According to News18 there are hints of an expanded investigation into Wednesday’s security breach at Parliament, raising questions about the motives behind the intrusion. The incident, occurring on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, involved individuals leaping into the Lok Sabha chamber, releasing yellow gas, and shouting slogans. Two others simultaneously sprayed colored gas while protesting outside Parliament.

Intelligence sources suggest the four people understood the consequences of their actions within Parliament, hinting at external motivation. Lalit Mohan Jha is identified as the alleged mastermind, but investigators suspect his involvement on behalf of another unseen figure.

Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Amol Shinde, and Neelam Devi now face charges under anti-terror laws and the Indian Penal Code. Lalit Mohan Jha was apprehended on Thursday evening. The group, equipped with only two passes for the Lok Sabha gallery, intended to enact Bhagat Singh’s revolutionary acts during British rule. The case involves charges under UAPA sections 16 and 18, as well as IPC sections 120B, 452, 153, 186, and 353.

The four individuals, associated with the ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club’ Facebook page, expressed their intent through the platform. Officials emphasize the gravity of planning an attack through social media, highlighting the potential involvement of an unseen guide in this serious matter.
