Opposition Parties that boycotted the Rajya Sabha call a Meeting to discuss strategy on the Farm Bills

The farm bills were passed in Parliament, under a chaotic environment which resulted in the opposition MPs suspension.

A meeting has been called by opposition parties, that have boycotted Rajya Sabha session as a protest against the suspension of eight MPs. It has been called to discuss and lay further strategies on the farm bills. The meeting will be held at the office of Leader of Opposition in the House, Ghulam Nabi Azad in the Parliament, later today.

The farm bills were passed in Parliament, under a chaotic environment which resulted in the opposition agitating and conclusively in the opposition MPs being ordered a suspension.

Opposition parties have slammed the government over the suspension of the 8 Rajya Sabha MPs and they also sat in for an indefinite protest on Parliament premises against the move.

The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned and  moved under Provisional Ruling when the matter resolves.
