During the discussion on the Foreign Contribution Amendment Bill, Supriya Sule commented on the position BJP Member of Parliament and retired police officer, Satya Pal Singh, took in the defense of an NGO case.
Regarding a case against NGO of a family burned to death in Odisha, Singh supposedly defended the case. He pointed out that the pristine legacy of NGO outshines this case. Sule questions his motives with the question “what would have he done as a commissioner officer?”
She said, “Whatever they did, no law anywhere in the world allows you to burn people & their children.”
Supriya Sule is the National Congress Party MP. She represented Baramati in Lok Sabha.
