India’s diverse culture and its food are always appreciated by foreign ministers. This time when the country is all lit up with lights and eye-catchy, enormously tall Pooja Pandals for the celebration of Navratri, i.e., nine days of worship of Devi Durga followed by Vijaya Dashmi, traps the US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti in its magical scents and forced him for Pandal hopping in Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park trying out delicious food.
The U.S. Ambassador took to Social Media platform X sharing his beautiful time spent in the pooja pandal, “Shubho Pujo, everyone!
I had an incredible time pandal hopping in CR Park in Delhi, participating in the cultural festivities and of course, tasting some amazing Pujo food! As I continue to experience different celebrations across India, I remain in awe of @IncredibleIndia ’s amazing cultural diversity.”

The Ambassador couldn’t stop himself from trying out different cuisines, whose aroma was undeniable. The Ambassador grabs a bite of Jalmuri, Biryani, Fish Fry with Kasundi, Aalo Dum with Luchi, etc ending with the Indian custom of eating sweets.
Earlier, on October 19, the US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti also took a ride on Delhi Metro where he clicked pictures with co-passengers and shared a video of him having a fun-moment.
