On Monday the Jilani building in Bhiwandi had collapsed and around 25 injured were rescued when the building had collapsed trapping many under its pile of concrete and metal. According to Times of India, people with multiple injuries were shifted to Kalwa and JJ hospital in Mumbai.
The death toll rises to 39 in the Bhiwandi building collapse incident, as reported by ANI. Rescue operations are still under way. On Wednesday morning, 9 bodies were recovered from the debris.The total casualties in the tragic incident include 12 minor kids.
