Kolhapur, Dec 24 : Maharashtra Health Minister Tanaji Sawant said on Sunday that the state was on path of speedy development after the government took many decisions for the benefit of people.
Addressing a dedication function of Sub-district hospital building at Gargoti in Bhudargad tehsil of the district, he asserted that in last one and half years, the government has taken many people-centric decisions such as modernisation of Health department, given compensation to distressed farmers and provided employment to unemployed, transforming the state.
He also said that good health facilities have become accessible to people under various health schemes.
Also, OPD patients have been getting quality medical treatment at every goverment hospital, Sawant added.
