On Monday, the Awantipora Police, 50 Rashtriya Riffles, 185 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have arrested the lately joined zealot, Faisal Ahmad Dar, who was affiliated with the Lashker-e-Taiba terrorism clan.
The zealot was reported to have gone missing from September 11 with intents on joining the militant ranks of the Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was operational in the Anantnag, Awantipora, and Pampore area, Pulwama. He was arrested in the Pampore area near Konibal crossing.
On September 13, the zealot uploaded a video on social media announcing that he has become a member of the LeT and “requested his parents not to look or search for him”.
Accusatory material was recovered from him.
“The Case FIR number 79/2020 under the relevant section of law stands registered at police station Pampore.”
