Jharkhand Assembly Elections will be conducted in two phases on November 13 and November 20, 2024. The first phase will cover 43 constituencies, and the second phase will cover 38 constituencies.
Key dates for the election are as follows:
- The gazette notification for the first phase will be issued on October 18, 2024, while the notification for the second phase will be issued on October 22, 2024.
- Nominations for the first phase must be submitted by October 25, 2024, and for the second phase by October 29, 2024.
- Scrutiny of nominations will take place on October 28 and October 30, respectively, for each phase.
- The last date for withdrawal of candidatures for the first phase is October 30, and for the second phase is November 1, 2024.
- Polling for the first phase will be held on November 13, and the second phase on November 20, 2024.
The counting of votes for both phases, as well as for Maharashtra, will take place on November 23, 2024.
