Intelligence agencies had issued a specific alert for November 12, after documents recovered during the Delhi blast investigation revealed that terrorists were planning a major strike on that date, according to top intelligence sources. In response, Delhi Police and central agencies had implemented enhanced security arrangements across the capital for November 12.

The alert comes as investigators uncover deeper layers of the conspiracy behind the November 10 Red Fort blast, which killed nine people and injured nearly a dozen. The bomber has been identified as Dr Umar Mohammad (alias Dr Umar Un Nabi), a doctor from Pulwama who was teaching at Al-Falah University in Faridabad.

Turkiye-Based Handler, Codenamed ‘Ukasa’

Sources indicate that Dr Umar was in contact with a Turkiye-based handler, identified only by the codename Ukasa. Investigators believe the handler may have played a key role in planning and financing the attack.

Bomber Travelled Across Delhi; Spotted at 50 CCTV Locations

In a major breakthrough, police have mapped Dr Umar’s movements across Delhi. After fleeing Faridabad, he drove to Firozpur Jhirka in Mewat, then returned to Delhi via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

He was captured on CCTV at nearly 50 locations between 8:13 am and 3 pm on November 10. His route included:

  • Badarpur Toll

  • East District

  • Central District (Ring Road)

  • North District

  • Ashok Vihar (meal stop)

  • A mosque visit in Central Delhi

  • Connaught Place

  • Mayur Vihar

Sources say Dr Umar reached the Red Fort parking area at 3:19 pm, and later parked the Hyundai i20 at Sunehri Masjid parking, where he remained inside the car until moments before the blast at 6:52 pm.

6-Blast Plot for December 6: Babri Masjid Revenge Angle

In a chilling revelation, investigators say the terror module—comprising multiple doctors linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad—had planned six coordinated blasts across Delhi-NCR on December 6, the anniversary of the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition.

Sources reveal the accused told interrogators they chose the date to “avenge the Babri Masjid demolition.”
The plot was to be executed in phases across multiple high-density locations in Delhi-NCR.

Ongoing Crackdown

  • Three doctors from Al-Falah University have already been detained.

  • The NIA is now leading the investigation and tracking the sale, ownership, and movement of the i20 car used in the blast.
