In a fresh escalation late Monday night, a blackout was suddenly reimposed in Amritsar, moments after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national address on the India-Pakistan military conflict. The Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar posted at 8:51 PM that sirens would be heard and residents must switch off lights and stay away from windows, citing abundant caution.

Adding to the growing tension, reports also emerged of Pakistani drone activity over Samba in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces were seen firing at drones, although authorities clarified that no ground exchange of fire was taking place and that residents should stay indoors but not panic.

Meanwhile, flight radar data shows an IndiGo flight (6E2045) from Delhi to Amritsar making a sharp mid-air turn and heading back toward Delhi, barely 30 minutes into its journey. The sharp deviation followed the blackout orders, signaling potential airspace security protocols being reactivated.
