India Cargo ships carrying 11, 000 MT of rice from India reached Colombo on Tuesday. The supplies that are help from India to Sri Lanka are being seen as a help in the crisis when the rates of food in Sri Lanka are skyrocketing and the economic crisis does not seem to rest anytime soon. Ahead of Sri Lankan new year, India’s “multi-pronged” support to Sri Lanka in the past week is being considered a great relief for Sri Lanka.
