Kolkata: Members of the Women Cell of Trinamool Congress held a protest in march over the Hathras Gangrape Case. 2 days ago, The CM of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee held a protest rally on the streets of West Bengal. TMC and other left parties are continuously protesting against the UP Government. 

Earlier Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) Rajya Sabha (RS) member Derek O’Brien was pushed to the ground by an Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police team on Friday afternoon when he and some other lawmakers had tried to visit the Bul Gargi village in Hathras, where a 19-year-old woman had died earlier this week after she was allegedly gang-raped by four men in September.

While TMC women’s wing protests against BJP’s UP government, in the same way, BJP women’s wing on Sunday held a protest at Gandhi Smriti in Kolkata against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The protest was to shed light on her government’s silence over crimes against women in the state. Bengal BJP leader Bharati Ghosh said, CM Mamata undertook a foot march to protest against the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh, BJP women workers in Nodakhali village were being molested by people associated with her party (Trinamool Congress).
