The Hathras Case, day by day is giving different angles to the story. A Dalit girl was allegedly raped by four upper-class men. She succumbed to the injuries on Tuesday and her dead-of-night cremation by the UP Police without the presence of family has provoked nationwide outrage.
A video has come out where the District Magistrate is talking to the victim’s family, from the video it is learnt that the DM is trying to manipulate the family.
He said, “Do not end your reliability on us. I’m telling you, these media people, half of them have already gone and the other half will go tomorrow morning and the ones left will depart in two-three days. Only we are standing with you. It is your wish if you want to change your statements again & again or not, maybe we can also change we do not know”.
