The prices of petrol and diesel remained unchanged on Sunday. Apart from the national capital New Delhi, in other metros, the prices of petrol and diesel have remained unchanged for the 87th day in a row now. In the national capital, a litre of petrol costs Rs 95.41, in Kolkata Rs 104.67, in Mumbai Rs 109.98 and in Chennai Rs 101.40. Similarly, a litre of diesel is available at Rs 86.67 in New Delhi, at Rs 89.79 in Kolkata, at Rs 94.14 in Mumbai and at Rs 91.43 in Chennai. The rise in the fuel prices in the domestic market was mainly attributed to the global upsurge in crude oil prices.
