Shibu Soren, JMM Supremo and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, has been transported to Ranchi’s Medanta Hospital. According to hospital sources, the leader complained of shortness of breath and is presently undergoing preliminary testing. The Medanta Hospital has formed a five-member medical board and stated that the leader has not yet been admitted.

“Shibu Soren has been taken to the hospital an hour ago after he complained of breathlessness. A five-member medical board is conducting preliminary tests. He has not been admitted He has not been admitted yet but undergoing tests,” said Ajeet Singh, medical superintendent of Medanta Hospital.

Between 2005 and 2010, the 79-year-old statesman served as Chief Minister of Jharkhand three times. His son Hemant Soren is the current Chief Minister, and the father-son combo recently attended a rally of the governing Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

During his rally speech, the leader discussed issues such as improved education and agricultural policy.
