Fire breaks out at a PVC manufacturing factory in Delhi

Last month, a similar fire broke out in the industrial area inside a shoe factory which took 26 fire tenders 6-7 hours to control the fire.

A fire broke out at a PVC sole manufacturing factory in DSIDC Industrial Area, Narela, Delhi. 15 fire tenders have rushed to the spot and police teams are also present on the spot. No causalities have been reported yet, the fire department said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

“The fire took place at a PVC sole factory in the D block. The fire personnel are on the spot to douse the fire. It is still very early to say what caused the fire,” a senior fire officer said.

More details are awaited however the matter has fortunately not escalated to fatality.
