A tragic accident at Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan has claimed the life of a Ministry of Finance employee, while his wife remains under treatment for injuries, as per ANI.

According to Delhi Police, the couple, residents of Hari Nagar, were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding BMW near Metro pillar number 67. The collision forced the motorcycle against the central verge, after which it struck a bus on the left side.

Police said eyewitnesses confirmed that a woman was driving the BMW, accompanied by her husband. After the accident, both reportedly took a taxi to the hospital with the injured victims. The accused are residents of Gurugram, and the husband is said to be in business.
The Ministry employee succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while his wife is under treatment. Delhi Police confirmed that the BMW and motorcycle have been seized, the crime and FSL teams examined the site, and an FIR is being registered.
