Three individuals, including two alleged shooters, have been arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch in collaboration with the Rajasthan Police in Chandigarh. The arrests are linked to the killing of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The two suspected shooters, Rohit Rathore from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and Nitin Fauji from Mahendragarh, Haryana, were captured in Chandigarh’s Sector 22. Another accomplice, Udham Singh, was also taken into custody.

The police had identified Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s suspected murders and offered a ₹5 lakh reward for information that led to their capture. On December 5, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot and killed at his Jaipur home. According to CCTV evidence, the attackers opened fire.

A police officer mentioned that the accused would be handed over to the Jaipur police for further questioning. The Rajasthan Police had formed an 11-member special investigation team to apprehend the suspects.

On Saturday, Ramveer Jat, was also arrested in Jaipur for allegedly hiring the shooters to kill Gogamedi. According to the police, Ramveer, a co-conspirator in the Gogamedi murder case, had facilitated Fauji, his friend, in Jaipur before the incident.

Bishnoi added that on November 9, Fauji and his associates fired at the police in Mahendragarh Police Station Sadar and fled. During this period, Fauji sent his friend Ramveer to Jaipur on November 19.
