New disclosures are being made about Raj Kundra and his subordinates every day. Raj Kundra has pertained for bail in the court. During the hearing of this petition in the court, the Mumbai Police rejected it. In fact, Mumbai Police says that there is a fear that if Raj Kundra gets bail, he may also escape abroad like Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.
Actually, Mumbai Police is speculating Raj Kundra as the mastermind in the pornography racket. Along with this, it has also been concluded in the revelations from his WhatsApp chat that the cords of this pornography racket can be associated with foreign countries. In such a situation, the police say that the court should not permit bail to Raj Kundra because he has UK citizenship and he can escape abroad as soon as he gets bail.
In the petition filed by Raj Kundra, it has been said that the police had submitted the charge sheet in this case in April. Kundra’s name was neither on the charge sheet nor in the FIR. Also, it has been said in the petition that the accused named in the charge sheet are out on bail. The magistrate’s court earlier erred in rejecting his bail.
Raj Kundra, who has been continuously calling the allegations against him false, has said in the petition that the entire order is based on conjecture and should be stopped. The magistrate has failed to explain that there is no material against the applicant to show his alleged involvement in the alleged crime.
At the same time, in opposition to this petition, the Mumbai Police has said that this crime is serious. Mumbai police are investigating the matter as to where all the videos made were uploaded. Police also said that if Raj Kundra gets bail, it will send a wrong message to society and at the same time there will also be a fear that this crime may happen again.
The police have told the court that being a British citizen, Raj Kundra can flee abroad as soon as he is granted bail. Now the court will hear the matter on August 20. Raj Kundra has been arrested for making porn videos and uploading them on apps and is currently in judicial custody.
