Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday took to Twitter to take a jibe at the centre on its plans regarding the issue of Chinese aggression across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.
“The Chinese have taken our land. When exactly is GOI planning to get it back? Or is that also going to be left to an Act of God?” the former Congress president asked on Twitter.
The Chinese have taken our land.
When exactly is GOI planning to get it back?
Or is that also going to be left to an 'Act of God'?

The Tweet is indicative of the remark made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharama on COVID-19 as an ‘act of God’ on the contraction of the Indian economy.
The Tweet comes after Indian-China standoff since April-May, led to a meeting by external affairs minister S Jaishankar with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Thursday evening on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Moscow, wherein they reached a 5 point consensus on easing the border tensions in Ladakh. Last Friday, defence minister Rajnath Singh had also met his Chinese counterpart, General Wei Fenghe, in the Russian capital.
