UP CM Yogi Adityanath says his government is committed to women’s safety and those who even think of harming their self-respect will face ‘total destruction’ & get exemplary punishment that will be remembered by future generations.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted about the vision of the UP Government promising punishment for criminals.
“Only the idea of destroying the honor and self-respect of mothers and sisters in Uttar Pradesh is sure to destroy the people. They will receive such punishment which will set an example in the future. your UP Government is committed to the safety and development of every parent. This is our resolve – promise.”

The government of UP is facing several protests upon the incident of Hathras. Yesterday Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were trying to enter into the village of the victim, but eventually, they stopped in between and were arrested by the UP Police.
Media reports alleged that the District Magistrate of Hathras tried to intimidate the victim’s family. However, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has consulted with the Prime minister of India and formed SIT.
UP Police said that the postpartum reports of the victim show, no semen traces were found, thus the rape allegations are false.
