CM should’ve married of his daughter to Dalit community if he was progressive : Kerala Congress President

On Saturday in an interview the working president of Kerala’s Congress Kodikkunil Suresh quoted that if the chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was truly taking initiatives for putting forward change then he would have married his daughter to a person belonging from a scheduled caste community.

Suresh quoted that Vijayan had gained popularity just for the fact of initiating a woman belonging to the Dalit community into the Sabarimala Temple, he further said that if he really believed in progress he would have married his daughter to a Dalit person.

He even said that negligence was thrived at a great level as for appointing a scheduled cast person as the temple affair minister, that being celebrated and above that CM appointed another  keeper to keep a check on the minister

An A Rahim, state secretary of DYFI, the youth wing of ruling CPI(M) even said that the congress members speech were ant- women and against the prospects of modern society.
