Delhi CM on Saturday said that the government of the national capital is in talks with different state governments such as Uttarakhand, UP and Himachal Pradesh to increase the availability of water in the national capital. But at the same time Delhi needs proper water management system for the already available water, he added.
According to sources, in a recent meeting with the Delhi Jal Board, the government has decided that a consultant will be appointed to suggest measures that can ensure 24/7 water supply to every house and that they will try and achieve this goal within 5 years.
