Today morning, A cloudburst in Dharamshala has lashed and left the city in flood, which washed away vehicles and causing damage to properties in the Bhagsu Nag area. Several videos have been shared by locals as well as the authorities, including SHO Mcleodganj Vipin Chaudhary, on Twitter.

Heavy rain was also trigged at the Kangra district, which is 58 km away from Dharamshala, throwing life into chaos, a brook in Bhagsu Nag, which is a tourist attraction, into nothing short of a river. Some of the hotels in the area have reported heavy damage. The cloudburst and flash floods have instilled fear in people and also caused commotion and confusion.

Chief Minister Jairam Thakur shared the tweet and has sought a report on the losses suffered and has directed officials to extend all help to the affected areas.

Amit Shah tweeted that he had a word with CM Jairam Thakur on the weather issue which cost the loss of many facilities. Amit Shah said that the full force team of NDRF will be sent soon. Home Minister said that it has been monitoring the situation and all the possible help will be sent soon from the ministry.
