Bhopal, Mar 29 (UNI) Representatives of the Madhya Pradesh Episcopal Council, led by Archbishop AAS Durairaj, met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Tuesday and received appreciation from the latter vis-à-vis the Council’s activities for the state’s prosperity and welfare, it was officially learnt. The archbishops of Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain presented a citation and a rose plant to Mr Chouhan. The Council praised the activities conducted in the education, health, environment, public welfare and development spheres. Gratitude was expressed regarding senior citizens being taken on pilgrimage to places such as Velankanni under the Teerth-Darshan Yojana.
