The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) received a threatening email, indicating potential bomb placements at the RBI office, HDFC bank, and ICICI bank. The email also demanded the resignations of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
A total of 11 bomb threats were reported at various locations across Mumbai. In response to these threats, police conducted thorough investigations at all 11 sites but found no evidence of any explosive devices.
The Mumbai Police have registered a case in connection with these threats, and a probe is currently in progress to identify and apprehend those responsible for the alarming email and subsequent threats.
