The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted that except for the delay in the service lines between the Dwarka Sector 21 and the Rajendra Place, the other lines’ service remained normal.

The reason for the delay as mentioned by a senior official was said to be due to a technical snag but had been resolved.

After the first tweet, 35 minutes later, the DMRC tweeted again saying that the normal service had resumed of the Blue Line.

Many people took the social media platforms to report about the delay which was up to one hour in the metro services.

The officials had said that Delhi’s Blue Line Metro Services were affected twice on Wednesday due to the signaling issues on the various sections of the corridor.

The services of Delhi’s Blue Line Metro encountered a technical snag for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Delhi’s Metro Blue Line connects Dwarka to Noida/Vaishali.

The officials added that the Green Line had also been briefly delayed earlier today but was quickly sorted.
