BJP leader Sonali Phogat passes away in Goa after a heart attack

Sonali Phogat reported feeling uneasy to her colleagues on Monday, and she was then rushed to the hospital.

Sonali Phogat, a BJP leader and actress, passed away on Monday night in Goa after suffering a heart attack, according to police.

The 41-year-old leader had Monday complained of discomfort to her staff before being transported to the hospital. The postmortem is currently being performed, and the neighbourhood police are en route to the hospital.

She had run against Kuldeep Bishnoi of the Congress for the Adampur seat in the Haryana Assembly elections.

Before she passed away, Phogat uploaded a video on her Instagram account. Additionally, she updated her Twitter profile image at the same moment.
