According to the IANS C-Voter Bihar opinion ballot survey, 30.9% of Bihar’s citizens prefer the current CM Nitish Kumar as the next one too.
Congress Chief Tariq Anwar is preferred the lowest with 2.1% while Rashtriya Janta Dal Chief Tejashwi Yadav is the favourable CM candidate for the 15.4% and BJP Chief Sushil Modi has acquired a share of 9.2%. Lok Janshakti Party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan is favoured by 6.5% of the folks as a CM candidate.
Rashtriya Janta Dal Chief supremo and ex-Bihar CM Lalu Prasad, who was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in 2018, convicted within the Fodder Scam, is barred from contesting the polls but still has 8.3% share of the voters who prefer him as the CM. He is 12 days away from completing the half sentence.
The sample size of the survey is 25,789 and the period of the survey is September 1 to September 25. The survey’s margin of error is +/- 3% at the State stage and +/-5% at the Regional stage. The survey covers all 243 Assembly segments. Also, as per the poll survey, the NDA is projected to get 141-161 seats.
