The Bengaluru Central Crime Branch(CCB) detained another man, possibly a drug peddler yesterday. 13 ecstasy tablets, 100 grams weed, 1.1 grams of MDMA and 0.5 grams of hashish were also recovered from him.
Sandeep Patil, Joint CP-Crime, said that one of the actors who is in police custody had been in contact with this man and visited his flat 3-4 times in the last few months. Yesterday the CCB had also arrested Kannada actor Kishore Shetty and confirmed that the drugs in the state are being sourced from Mumbai. Over the past few weeks, several drug busts happened in the raids conducted by the CCB and 12 people including actors, students and peddlers have been arrested.
Further investigation is underway.
