To which Mahindra replied, “The truth is that I will never become the richest. Because this was never my wish.” Anand Mahindra is ranked 91 by Forbes and has a net worth of $2.1 billion. India Rich List 2022 was published by Forbes India on November 29, 2018. According to the ranking, the combined wealth of India’s top 100 individuals is $800 billion.

Anand Mahindra, who heads the $19 billion (revenue) Mahindra & Mahindra company, is the third generation scion of the Mahindra family, according to Forbes. Mahindra plans to introduce five additional electric SUVs in India and other regions between 2024 and 2026, it was further said.
Anand Mahindra also owns a modest but significant interest in Kotak Mahindra Bank, according to Forbes. In April 2020, it was stated, he gave up his position as executive chairman and changed his title to non-executive chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra.
