The AIADMK has decided to sever its relationship with the NDA, adopting a resolution to terminate its alliance with the BJP. This announcement was made by K P Munusamy, the Deputy Coordinator of AIADMK, who stated that the decision was unanimous. The primary reason for this move is the ongoing issues with the BJP’s state leadership, who have been making continuous and unnecessary comments about AIADMK’s former leaders, their General Secretary EPS, and their party members over the past year.
