Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken swift action in response to the tragic crash of Air India flight AI171 in Ahmedabad. According to sources, PM Modi spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, instructing them to immediately head to Ahmedabad and ensure that all possible assistance is provided to those impacted by the air mishap.

The incident, involving a Boeing 787 Dreamliner bound for London Gatwick, occurred shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, crashing near the Meghaninagar area. The aircraft had 242 people on board, and rescue operations are underway.
Officials said both Shah and Naidu are expected to coordinate with local authorities, review on-ground relief measures, and meet affected families. A high-level probe into the crash has already been initiated.
