According to authorities, a bank security was arrested on Friday in Bareilly district for reportedly firing at a 28-year-old customer during a scuffle over the guy not wearing a face mask. Guard Keshav, on the other hand, said that during the brawl inside the bank, he accidently shot Rajesh Kumar.
Rajesh’s health, which had been admitted to the hospital, was declared to be stable by police.
Keshav has been arrested and will be held in judicial custody, according to Bareilly SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan.
We filed a case against the guard under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder) after receiving a complaint, Sajwan added.
The client was shot on the left thigh, just above the knee, Circle Officer (City-I) Yatendra Singh Nagar said. He’s all right now.
Rajesh’s wife, Priyanka Rathore, told reporters that her husband got into a dispute with the security guard inside the bank because he wasn’t wearing a mask. “Because Rajesh was not wearing a mask, the guard refused to let him into the bank. He then obtained a mask, but the guard refused to let him in, claiming that it was lunchtime. Priyanka stated that he shoved him and shot at him.
Meanwhile, a video that went viral on social media supposedly showed Keshav claiming that he had shot at the customer by accident.
