On Sunday, AAP leaders protested in Delhi against the CBI for summoning Kejriwal for questioning.
On Sunday, prominent AAP leaders gathered close to the probe agency’s headquarters, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Ministers Saurabh Bharadwaj, Atishi, and Kailash Gahlot, and Rajya Sabha Members Sandeep Pathak, Raghav Chadha, and Sanjay Singh. They raised anti-Prime Minister Narendra Modi slogans.
Atishi stated, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scared of the growing popularity of Arvind Kejriwal. This is the reason why the leaders of AAP are being put in jail. They say that it is a scam of thousands of crores but till now they have not been able to prove that even a single rupee was embezzled. The entire country is with Arvind Kejriwal.”
On Sunday morning, Kejriwal came at the CBI’s Delhi headquarters to face questioning over the liquor policy scam.“I will answer all the questions. BJP leaders are talking about it (my arrest). The CBI is controlled by BJP,”Kejriwal stated, while speaking to reporters outside the CBI office.
AAP leaders also claimed that numerous Punjab ministers had been barred from entering Delhi at the Singhu border. Which included Kuljit Randhawa and Dinesh Chadha, leaders of the AAP, as well as the minister of health, Dr. Balbir Singh, and revenue, Bram Shanker Jimpa.
