75th Mann Ki Baat: “Janata Curfew touched the heart of Corona Warriors,” says PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi said that the ‘Janata Curfew’ was an unprecedented example of discipline.

While addressing the 75th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, March 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the completion of one year of ‘Janata Curfew’. PM said that it was the first time when people of this country heard the term ‘Janata Curfew’.

PM Modi said, “My dear countrymen, last year it was this very month of March when the country heard the term ‘Janata Curfew’ for the first time. Just have a look at the experience of the might of the great Praja, people of this great country. Janata Curfew had become a bewilderment to the entire world. It was an unprecedented example of discipline and the generations to come will certainly feel proud at that.”

PM Modi further said that the Taali-Thaali act was an attempt to boost the moral of our warriors. He said, You cannot imagine how much it had touched the hearts of Corona Warriors. Expressing honour and respect for our Corona Warriors by ringing Thaalis, applauding, lighting a lamp had an huge positive impact”.

PM Modi said that the Janata Curfew is the reason our Warriors resolutely held on the whole year, without tiring, without halting. “Steadfastly, they endured to save the life of each and every citizen of the country,” PM Modi said in Mann Ki Baat.

On 22nd March 2020, PM Modi requested all citizens to follow Janata Curfew from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. PM Modi also urged to the people to respect for our Corona Warriors by ringing Thaalis, applauding or lighting a lamp.
