On February 14, 2019, a militant struck a CRPF convoy of over 78 vehicles with an explosive-led vehicle in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir.

40 people were killed in the terror incident.

The attack happened in the J&K district of Pulwama in Lethaporra.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the Pulawama terror assault while remembering the sacrifice made by the CRPF troops.

The prime minister posted a message on Twitter that read, “Remembering our valiant warriors who we lost on this day in Pulwama.”

The terror incident inflamed the public’s resentment and prompted a widespread call for action against terrorists and Pakistan, the country that nurtures them.
