Travel blogging was one of the most popular freelance profession of this digital era and was considered as a very lucrative field as it paid off high. But this was the story of the world before we were hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, even after a period of six months we are facing travel restrictions and seems like a lot has changed. Now it is the concern of many travel bloggers about how will they resume their work in this situation.

Undoubtedly in the post-COVID-19 world, travel blogging will be very different from now.
A lot of creators, YouTubers, freelance writers, and bloggers rely on brand partnerships for income. But during the pandemic situation when the world economy is declining, their income is hugely reduced. Approximately 30-40% of people will end up leaving this profession and start something new just to sustain.
Hostels, travel start-ups, and small tour operators which do not receive their funds will shut down too. They rely on visitors and keep enough cash on hand for just a few weeks ahead. After several months of forced closure of their businesses, they are on the way to bankruptcy. So in the post-pandemic era fewer hostels, travel blogs, food stalls walking tour companies, and small tour operators will be seen, and they will mostly be luxurious.

It will take years after the COVID-19 virus goes completely for the travel industry to recover. As the pandemic will leave many people unemployed, travel will be considered as a luxury and not a priority. Travel bloggers won’t take the risk of having large scale international travel at the beginning keeping their safety in mind. They will travel around their local region instead. Many unconventional tourist spots will be discovered.
It will take considerable amount of time for common people to get out of the fear of having another potential outbreak. They will be cautious, they will be apprehensive.
Getting Visa and other permits will be more difficult and time-consuming as it will require lots of health checkups and fitness certificates( if the vaccine is discovered ).
Maybe even in post-COVID-19 world, the tourism industry will take some time to recover.
