The place, which was destroyed by fire in an accident in 1870 has since become a renowned shooting location for various Bollywood films. However, reports indicate that the shoots have been disrupted because visitors keep noticing unusual shadows and experiencing strange sensations.
D’Souza Chawl
The haunting tale revolves around this Mahim site. Residents of the chawl prefer to stay inside after sunset because, according to families living there, a woman who fell into a well by accident a few decades ago has been haunting the area ever since.
Ram Sakit Building
The building in Mahim, which is next to Paradise Cinema, has a scary story. It appears that a resident woman, who was in her late 50s, died tragically after falling into a well. Ever since locals claim that her soul emerges at amavasya and disappears at sunrise.
Tower of Silence
Every area where someone dies is associated with the paranormal. A graveyard for the Parsi community, people are bound to feel uneasy near it. The powerful smell and peaceful ambiance add to the spookiness of the place.
Grand Paradi Towers
There have been several deaths in this apartment complex. There have been approximately 20 suicides from the 8th level alone; a couple, their children, and an elderly man jumped from this floor. This is what makes this one of the most haunted spots in the city.
