Hair needs to be protected in this harsh world full of chemicals, global warming, and pollution. While doing so we might opt for products at the shops that add up to the chemical build up only and do little or no benefit to the hair. Moreover, that is when home remedies come for the resque.
Here is a list of some of the popularly used home made masks that you need to give a try:
Coconut oil hair mask
This hair mask will help stop split ends, frizz, and breakage in addition to moisturising damaged hair. Choose an extensive overnight coconut oil treatment to repair your hair because it can reach the hair shaft. Simply reheat coconut oil in the microwave, then apply it to damp hair before night, avoiding the roots. Shampooing can be done in the morning.
Banana Mask
One ripe banana should be blended. To ensure that it washes out completely without leaving parts in your hair, add 4 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp glycerin, and 2 tbsp honey to the mixture. After applying the mixture to your hair, cover it with a shower cap for 30 minutes, and wash it out.
Aloe Vera Mask
Apply the combination of 5 tbsp of aloe vera gel with 2 tbsp of a silicone-free conditioner to hair. It should be completely combed in and left on for 20 minutes before being washed off.
Egg white and lemon hair mask
Try this egg mask using just the whites and the juice from half a lemon, if you are prone to having oily hair. Apply, let sit for 30 to 60 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.
