Saffron, also known as Kesar – an everyday kitchen ingredient can enhance the aroma of your meal and the quality of your skin. Application of Sandalwood blended with Kesar, and milk on the face and neck can remove the tan, moisturize and purify the skin. As the pack starts to dry, massage your face gently and wash the pack after 10-15 minutes. Milk as an ingredient rejuvenates the skin and leaves the skin glowing and radiant.

Usage of Saffron with coconut oil and rose water on your face before calling it a night will also improve the quality of the skin. If you are suffering from a dry skin problem, you can mix a few strands of saffron in honey and milk. Leave it on your face for a couple of minutes and rinse it off. Experts also recommend that one should pat the skin with a towel instead of rubbing the towel on the face skin, to prevent the skin from getting irritated.
You can also savor your taste buds during this monsoon with the popular refreshing Indian coolant – a glass of Thandai by blending a few strands of saffron, a few of the dry fruits as per your preference, and a small tablespoon of Haldi in a glass of cold milk.
